Terms and Conditions
- Minimums: Minimum order of $80.00 per delivery + delivery charge. Most items require a minimum order of 4 – 10 depending on item based on ordering, logistics & costs involved (all items on our menus state their minimum order requirements for your convenience.
- Lost Property: There will be a replacement fee of between $25.00 – $50.00 charged for any property lost platters & equipment.
- GST: All prices are inclusive of GST.
- Booking Confirmation: Any booking is provisional until Zest Catering has received payment which in turn indicates acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. All orders through the Website and electronic mail will be subject to “confirmation of order” acceptance by email fromZest Catering.
- Payment: Unless the Client has been given credit terms, the following terms will apply: – We request payment for all first orders by direct deposit. Credit terms are only available to clients who order on a regular basis and are subject to satisfactory credit references and maintenance of the account within the payment term.
- Ordering Times: Any orders placed after 1pm cannot be guaranteed for the following day, unless confirmed by our staff. We reserve the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value, if items are unavailable by factors relating to the market, season, supply or any other factors outside our control.
- Order Area: Zest Catering delivers 7 days a week and to all Sydney metropolitan areas subject to availability. Please advise Zest Catering of your delivery area, day and time and you will be advised of the delivery fee.
- How to order: You can order direct via phone, online using the online shopping cart or email through your order and await confirmation by staff.
- Food Allergy: Disclaimer Zest Catering makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to instruct our food production staff on the severity of food allergies. In addition, we label items with allergen-containing ingredients if the customer has requested it; however, there is always a risk of contamination. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation at any time, without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk. Zest Catering will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come in contact with while eating Zest Catering foods. Customers with food allergies are encouraged to contact Zest Catering by email or phone for additional information.
- Delivery:We endeavour to meet all delivery deadlines; however, we cannot be held responsible for late deliveries when circumstances are beyond our control. We will communicate this in a timely and professional manner.
- Complaints:Any complaint shall be made promptly and sent via email or phone.
- Force Majeure: Zest Catering shall not be liable for any loss due to any strike, lockout, act of God, act of terrorism, hostilities or any other circumstances outside our control. Performance or prompt performance of Zest Catering’s failure to perform its obligations (whether that failure is due to negligence on the part ofZest Catering, employees or sub-contractors or due to other causes) but nothing herein shall exclude Zest Catering’s obligation to pay compensation for death or personal injury as required by law.
- Staff Hiring: If staff are required and invoiced as a separate item, a minimum of 4 hours will be incurred, any extra hours worked are charged at the hourly rate. Additional hours incurred on a function will be charged after the event. Transport must be paid for any staff that work after 10.30pm – it is standard procedure to pay for travelling time.
- Cancellation: Any cancellation of an event by the client must be notified to Zest Catering as soon as possible they will advise at their discretion if you are entitled to a full or partial refund.
- Copyright i) These terms outline the use of the Zest Catering website which shall be deemed enforceable upon your or anyone’s entry into it. By entering our website, you automatically agree to be legally bound to these terms. If any of the following terms are, for any reason, not fully enforceable, all other terms shall nonetheless continue to be so. ii) Logos – The Zest Catering logos, page headers, footers & icons are copyright of Zest Catering. All other company names and logos, & product names mentioned or displayed on our website, are copyright of their respective owners.
- Website disclaimer: Zest Catering website is intended to provide visitors with general information about us, our services and our associated companies. It does not intentionally constitute legal or any other professional advice, contract or service.
- Privacy and data protection: Zest Catering respects your right to privacy and WILL NOT collect any personal information about you from your use of our website, unless you have given your express permission to do so. Any information which you do submit to us will not be made available to any third parties, and will only be used by Zest Catering in line with the purpose for which you provided it.
- Email subscription: – Cancel and Opt-Out From time to time, we will contact you about special offers and new site features if you have agreed to be included in our email subscription feature on our home page. To cancel our emails, you can send us an email with the words “unsubscribe” or “remove” in the heading of the email.
